Day trip to the Otways - Option 1
Begin your day trip in the Otways exploring the lush cool temperate rainforest of the Great Otways National park. There are a few short walks to waterfalls in the national park ranging from a quick 10 minutes walk from the carpark through to a 2 hour, 5km walk that takes you to a suspended viewing platform. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head to one of the many great places to eat in the area – you’ve got the choice of boutique cafes, pub meals, bistros and general stores offering friendly country hospitality. For the afternoon, it’s a trip to the Cape Otway Lightstation. Enjoy the magnificent sweeping view of the ocean from the Lighthouse Balcony and perhaps have a bit of afternoon tea before the trip back home.
Day trip to the Otways - Option 2
This is 1 day in the Otways the whole family can enjoy! Start with a treetop walk (25 metres off the ground and suitable for prams) or fly through the trees on a zipline tour.
